Thresholds set the stage for the functional space that follows. They are not simply an entity, but also the very fabric of space. It provides a visual representation of the forthcoming space. It can also have an impact on how people perceive spatial sequences and predict what will happen in or around them. Through the spatial volume and positioning of elements, the projects involved developing a variety of interior settings that articulated the identity and atmosphere.
